Manns has taken on the Grange Machinery franchise. The new dealer will sell Grange machines from its seven depots in East Anglia, Kent and Leicestershire.

Part of the Claas global agricultural machinery business, Manns sells the full Claas range plus Horsch’s cultivation and seeding products. “There is an excellent fit between our products,” comments Grange machinery managing director Rhun Jones, “and the range offered by Manns and the company has a strong presence and long-standing reputation in the key arable regions of the country where many of our target customers are located.”

A family run company based in Holderness, East Yorkshire, Grange Machinery manufactures agricultural machines and wearing parts. “Grange Machinery is a great example of a company that is ‘big enough to matter but small enough to care’, designing its products with the farmer in mind,” comments Paul Moss, Manns sales director.

“We are looking forward to offering Grange Machinery’s products, which complement our Horsch range perfectly, presenting an ideal solution for farmers and contractors who wish to loosen soil ahead of a cultivator or drill. The combination is sure to be of great interest where farming for the benefit of the land is a goal and offers us an exciting opportunity in that marketplace.”

The Grange range can be seen in action with Claas and Horsch machinery at Manns forthcoming Geared for Growth demonstration tour where visitors can see a 6.0m Low Disturbance Toolbar (LDT), 4.0m Low Disturbance Loosener (LDL), 4.0m Close Coupled Toolbar (CCT) and the Strip-Till Preparator.

The dates and venues are Thursday April 13, Manns Saxham IP28 6QZ (10am-4pm); Tuesday April 18 Thetford, IP25 7NH (10am-4pm), Tuesday April 25, Bradwell, Essex CM77 8ES (10am-4pm) and Wednesday May 10, MANNS Kent, TN27 9PJ (2pm-9pm).
