Suitable for use on both grass and arable land, German firm Fliegl Agrartechnik says its Skate slurry applicator can be fitted behind all slurry tankers, both new and old. Skate’s main features include a coulter pressure of 6-8kg per trailing shoe along with automatic slope compensation of the central and side frames for accurate ground contour following. Available in working widths of 9, 12 and 15m, all fold to a transport width of 2.6m. Optional equipment includes a mechanical or hydraulic boom section control, which reduces gaps and overlaps to a minimum. Operated via a push-button and backlit terminal, the Skate can also be operated via an ISOBUS connection.
