Tramspread has expanded its product range with three nurse tanks. Suitable for slurry and digestate, the three models offer capacities are 45m³, 70m³ and 90m³.

A product not previously offered by the company, but one it has been asked for, the result uses an individual hydraulic lift and lower axle design with hydraulic suspension and full air braking.

The wheels are recessed into each side. “This makes it far easier to position and use the tank, knowing you can pump from either the front or the back,” comments Tramspread sales manager James Peachey.

The hydraulically-pivoting drawbar on all three models is said to be handy when negotiating awkward gateways or positioning the tank on uneven land. Ground clearance is described as generous, and the running gear consists of 10-stud wheels with 385/65R22.5 tyres and air brakes.

Standard spec includes a large plexiglass sight gauge, internal and external aluminium access ladders, LED lights and beacon, and reflectors. The tanks are supplied with one 6” or 8” blind flange. Sump access is optional.

“The tanks can be equipped to suit virtually any application,” continues Mr Peachey. “For example, inlet and outlet ports at the front and back may be needed for working with an umbilical system, or a tank might simply be used as a container for blowing into and sucking out of with tankers.”

Prices start from £30,000 (plus delivery) for the basic 45m³ model.
