German mixer wagon maker Mayer says five of its new Siloking Self Line 4.0 self-propelled vertical auger mixers are currently leaving the production line at Tittmoning every week. So far this year all 50 machines have been delivered to European customers, and the global rollout is expected to start this summer. The assembly team has also begun integrating the new Self Line, 4.0 System 500+ feed mixer presented at Agritechnica, into the production line. Developed especially for professional use by contractors, or on farms with several locations, this latest model belongs to the same SelfLine 4.0 family, and features the same CAN-Bus control and new hydraulics. Power comes from the same 218hp Volvo Stage IV (6cyl/7.7-lit) engine. Standard equipment on the new cab on all Self Line 4.0 machines includes an air-suspended seat with integrated multifunction armrest, a three-way adjustable steering column and a low cab entry with wide door. Large-diameter wipers ensure a clear view in the rain, the roof panel is made of tinted safety glass, and the standard roof-mounted LED light bar covers a 3m radius. Available in capacities of 19, 22 and 25cu.m., the Self Line 4.0 System 500+ 2519 spec also includes 4ws, large-size tyres and two steered axles. Available in three speed options (25/40/50km/hr), an automatic levelling system controls the air-suspended front and rear axles.
