Slurry equipment specialist Bauer will show a range of all-steel BSA tankers in the UK and Ireland for the first time at LAMMA, next month. With capacities from 10,000 to 26,000 litres (10-26cu³) in the top-end Profiline specification, the tankers are designed for professional use by contractors demanding a fast-filling tanker that empties through a choice of applicators from dribble bars to cultivators, and runs well on the road. The new range will be offered alongside the 10,500l to 26,000l (10.5-26cu³) polyester tank models, and the firm continues to expand the SGT tanker range acquired in 2015. This caters for tractors such as the Claas Xerion and JCB Fastrac with de-mount, fifth-wheel coupled and swan-neck trailed tankers. Other Bauer news concerns plans to forge closer ties with contractors through its new partnership with the National Association of Agricultural Contractors. The aim is to better understand contractors changing needs and requirements for more efficient, accurate and controlled application of farm slurry and digestate from AD plants.
