Previewed in the form of a sneak preview video at Agritechnica 2019, and seen in the flesh for the first time at a Russian show in October 2020, Weidemann’s first full size machines, the T7035 (3.5t) and T7042 (4.2t) are now listed on the company’s website.
With lift heights of 7.25m and 7.65m respectively, the two newcomers sit above the previous largest T6027 (6.0m/2.7t) model. Increasing the total number of Weidemann telehandlers to five, power to the two 7.0m machines comes from a 3.6-litre, four-pot Stage V Perkins block.
The standard version in the T7035 is 102hp/75kW. The standard 122hp/90kW block in the larger model can also be ordered for the T7035. Both models are available with a 136hp/100kW engine. Drive is hydrostatic and the maximum speed is 40km/hr.
Main features inside the four-post cab include the shock-absorbing console with joystick, keypads and 7” display. There are three steering models; all-wheel, front-wheel and crab steer and the steering angle of both machines is 45 degrees.
The two newcomers are also fitted with the same driver assistance Vertical Lift System as the T6027. This provides for partial semi-automated telescoping movement with bucket, stacking and manual modes.
Width of both machines is 2.45m and the wheelbase is 2.95m. Capable of towing up to 16.0t, operating weights are 7.25t (T7035) and 7.65t (T7042). More information and availability details will be released in January. In the meantime, the following link contains a lot of useful information
