Visitors to this month’s ScotGrass event will have an opportunity to see examples from Fendt’s growing range of grassland machines in action.
The Slicer mower/conditioners will be represented by the 3060 front-mounted and 3670 rear-mounted models and a six-rotor Twister 7706 tedder (also available in four- and eight-rotor format) will also be at the event.
With operating widths of up to 14.0m, the Former rake has a myMemory function that allows previously selected settings, such as raking height, operating width and swath width, to be engaged with the touch of a button on the Varioterminal, saving time between jobs.
Two examples of the Rotana baler will be present at Crichton Hall Farm – the 130 fixed chamber and the 160V-Combi variable chamber versions. All models have a freewheel sprocket that has the ability to rotate a full 360 degrees. This means that if the baling process becomes jammed suddenly, the sprocket continues to spin, allowing the bale to slow down and run out.
The Tigo XR65 loader wagon is also coming to the Scottish event as is the Rollector round bale wrapper. All Fendt grass and hay equipment will be paired with tractors from the company’s 200, 300 and 500 tractor ranges, and the Katana 65 self-propelled forage harvester will also be at ScotGrass on May 15.
