Ernest Doe & Sons has signed an agreement to acquire two additional branches from the New Holland dealer, the Burdens Group, located in South Lincolnshire.
These two additional branches are New Holland outlets located at Sutterton (covers much of East and South Lincolnshire) and North Kyme. Covering the West of Lincolnshire, the North Kyme depot is also an existing Ransomes Jacobsen outlet. These depots will be supported by the Earnest Doe Littleport branch which is just over an hour’s journey south of Sutterton in Cambridgeshire.
“We believe this is a positive move forward for our business and will strengthen our position as a key dealer in both the agricultural and groundcare machinery sectors,” comments managing director Angus Doe. “We look forward to welcoming additional people to the Ernest Doe family.”
The heads of terms have been signed, but the deal is not yet complete. It will take a few weeks for it to be finalised. A further statement will be issued on completion.
