White is one of seven standard colours for Valtra tractors and at EIMA the Finnish tractor maker is showing a number of them finished with Italian flag stickers on both sides of the engine hood.
The eye-catching idea was conceived at the start of this year with a Finnish special to commemorate the country’s 100th anniversary. Excited by the result, Swedish dealers also wanted a country special, which was quickly followed by a Scottish edition. Germany, too, was recently added to the list, which is based on a white tractor taped with the German flag.
Providing one of the standard colours is used, then adding the country flag, which is a job for Valtra’s Unlimited Studio, is not a big or expensive one.
The Finnish tractor maker has not yet been asked to produce a British version. Something for the future?
