HE-VA has developed a compact version of its 2.9m Grass Rejuvenator. The new model is suitable for reseeding or overseeding into cultivated land or directly into existing pastures.
Offering all the benefits of the current 2.9m model, the more compact format (400mm less depth) of the new model allows it to be used with an 80-120hp tractor.
The shattaboard with slicing plates on the compact version of the grassland improvement tool is said to be ideal for levelling poached areas, molehills and manure.
The original 2.9m Grass Rejuvenator has been joined by a new compact model (pictured).
Dead grass and thatch are ripped out by two rows of 12mm spring tines, which also stimulate grass growth. Consolidated is taken care of by a 450/500mm star ring roller, and the mid-mounted position of the Stocks Ag Rotor Jet seeder (130l hopper) provides optimum weight distribution.
Claimed to require fewer passes than conventional establishment methods, saving on time and fuel costs, the compact Grass Rejuvenator, which is priced at £17,063, will be on the Opico stand at AgriScot on November 13 at the Royal Highland Showground.
