The 250,000th Claas mower recently left the Bad Saulgau production site in Germany. The milestone machine was a Disco 3200 FC.
When the first Disco mower was produced in 1996, the working width started at 2.6m. The firm launched the first triple butterfly mower in 1999, and at Agritechnica 2005 previewed the 14m Cougar self-propelled mower.

The current Disco range comprises almost 40 different models with working widths from 2.20 to 10.70m.
The Claas group has invested more than €50 million in infrastructure and production facilities at Bad Saulgau since 2023. New assembly lines have been installed for Volto tedders and the Jaguar to create space for growth, especially in the mowers and swathers area.
A new logistics centre with a total floor area of 9,500m² is currently under construction. This is expected to be completed later this year.
