Drill maker Mzuri has gained a sister company Razorback, which will focus on kit for grass, stubble and hedge management.
Attracting attention at Cereals was the pictured 5.0m RT500 mower and trailed harrow combo, the theory being that, in grass, the harrow’s 24in tines spread the chopped material behind the mower and stimulate regrowth.
Similarly in OSR stubble, the outfit not only chops, but the harrow’s scattering action also reduces slug pressure ahead of planting a following crop. Transport width is 2.4m.
