Rather than just being a sprayer/spreader skid unit, Lite Trac has redesigned and rebranded its product as a multi-purpose tractor capable of carrying out a broader range of applications.
New additions run to front and rear linkages/pto, and gross vehicle weight has been increased from 24t up to 30t. On top of that, there’s a new Cat IV filtration/ROPS-tested cab, and the entire driveline has changed, too: a 7.7-litre 360hp Volvo motor drives through a 12F/2R Allison powershift gearbox and out to Omsi axles, which are now suspended both front and rear.
Full production of the new Lite Trac should start towards the end of the year, when the base price is expected to be around £185,000.
