The latest Quadtrac and Steiger wheeled AFS Connect series tractors comprise 14 models from 420 to a peak 682hp on the Quadtrac 620.
The engine hood appears to be the same as that on the current models. The differences on the new tractors is the technology inside, which includes the all-new MultiControl armrest in the redesigned cab.
The heating, ventilation and air conditioning system is also new, and these latest models come with an advanced steering system, 360-degree lighting and telescoping mirrors that are adjustable from the cab. The two transmission options are the PowerDrive powershift and continuously variable CVXDrive.
The new models come with larger fuel tanks, 600-hour oil change intervals and increased levels of connectivity with AFS Connect. First introduced on the new Magnums last year, the new cab embedded connectivity system enables two-way data transfer between the tractor and a farm office or mobile device.
It also makes it possible for remote display viewing of the tractor’s AFS operating screen by farm owners, managers and – with permission – the dealers supporting their equipment.
Some of the features on the new models, which will cross the Atlantic during the second half of this year, are specific for the European market.
