It is 25 years since Yamaha launched the Grizzly 600 in 1998, and to mark this milestone the company has launched a limited edition version of the ATV with new instruments, brakes and accessories.

The multi-function digital instruments include a fuel gauge, speedometer, odometer, dual trip meters, hour meter, clock, 4wd/diff-lock status, transmission gear selector and EPS warning light.

Three separate storage compartments offer plenty of space for tools and equipment, and the special edition Grizzly, which has a carrying capacity of 140kg and is able to tow 600kg, is fitted with a heavy-duty brush guard, front bash plate, fenders and hand-protectors.

Powered by a second generation MK II 686cc four-valve engine mated to the CVT Ultramatic transmission, the new model comes with electronic power steering, four-wheel hydraulic disc brakes and a suspension system where the rider can change settings to suit differing loads and terrains.

“The anniversary edition comes with one of the highest standard specifications in its category and features a front-mounted winch,” says Dan Palmer, power products manager.
