Amazone has invested around one million Euros is a new Chinese subsidiary. Located in Tianjin, a town of several million inhabitants a one-and-a-half-hour drive from Beijing, while Agricultural Machinery (Tianjin) serves primarily as a sales and service base, the 3,000sq.m. building also provides the possibility to assemble Amazone machinery locally. The entire Amazone product programme is available from soil tillage equipment and seed drills right through to fertiliser spreaders and crop protection sprayers. The company says seed drills, precision air seeders and ZA fertiliser spreaders are already selling well. The main aim now is to establish a sales organisation and nationwide dealer network to grow the business, and in the medium term, Amazone intends to achieve a double digit million turnover in China.
