The new 1,500-litre capacity FT1502 unit increases the total capacity to 3,500 litres when used with the UF2002 mounted sprayer, which Amazone reckons is an interesting alternative to a self-propelled sprayer.

Sitting above the existing FT1001 front tank, the optional FlowControl+ electronic fill level management provides 100% integration into the rear sprayer.

Operated via an ISObus terminal, the technology features two electronic fill level sensors in the front and the rear tanks and two venturis. Powered by an additional 150lit/min pump mounted on the UF, continuously transferring the liquid between the two tanks (up to 200lit/min in each direction) ensures it is well mixed.

Liquid is automatically pumped from the front tank when the level of the rear mounted spray tank reaches the 30% mark.

The ISObus terminal automatically controls the liquid levels to ensure the optimum weight distribution. FlowControl+ also ensures that both tanks are automatically fully filled during the filling process and emptied when spraying. Both tanks are cleaned out at the end.

It is possible to disengage the optional automatic function and so use the front tank only for transporting additional rinsing water or usable water for subsequent spraying. The maximum filling speed of the combination with FlowControl+ is up to 400lit/min.

The front tank comes with dedicated transport wheels.
