Long standing Valtra dealer Alistair Young Engineering, based in Dunphail, Forres, has joined the Merlo UK dealer network to further strengthen support for customers across northern Scotland.

The family-owned business will represent the brand north of the central belt in Scotland, covering Banff-shire, Moray, Nairn-shire, the west of Aberdeen-shire, Ross-shire, and Inverness-shire.

Founded in 1981 by Alistair Young senior, the business is now managed by three joint managing directors – Steven Young, Ashleigh Young, and Neil Murdoch.

“We are excited to introduce Merlo’s innovative telehandlers to our product offering,” said Ashleigh. “A high-quality telehandler for performance and reliability makes them the perfect addition to our existing franchises.”

These include Hi-Spec Engineering, Krone, McHale, Richard Western, JPM Trailers, KRM, Bomford Turner, and Quicke.
