McCormick will take the wraps off its flagship X8 tractors. Described as a brand new tractor, the three-model range offers power ratings of 264hp and 286hp, while the flagship 310hp unit is the most powerful McCormick tractor to date. Much of the X8’s technical spec remains under wraps, and ahead of the show all the company is prepared to reveal is power to the CVT (ZF) tractors will come from a 6.7-litre, Stage IV BetaPower engine. There is a new cab, new exterior styling, and at the rear the three models can lift 12t. X8 production will start during the second half of next year.
