WideLining automatically changes the spacing of four row units on the maize planter to create two 1050mm tramlines ahead of a self-propelled slurry machine.
The spacing between the row units next to the tramlines reduces from 750mm to 600mm, which is believed to be an acceptable row spacing to maintain a high silage yield.
Integrated in the iPad-based Väderstad E-Control, the system automatically calculates the field and adjusts the row units to create tramlines based on the working width of the slurry machine.
WideLining will be available for the Tempo V 6-12 from the second half of next year.
