Agrifac and Hardi are combining their activities in the UK. Effective from March 1, Agrifac will provide local sales, marketing, service, parts, finance and administration support for Hardi UK from its base at March in Cambridgeshire.
Agrifac will also import Hardi products, which will continue to be distributed through Hardi’s UK dealer network. Hardi representatives from across the UK will remain the face of the brand to the market, is the message, and both brands will continue to work separately.
Described as a positive step forward for the future, this is not the first time two Exel Industries Group companies have joined forces. A similar move took place in 2013 when Agrifac UK partnered with Holmer.
“We really believe that joining together with Hardi UK will help develop and support customer relations,” said Agrifac UK managing director Andy Carse. “With current support to the UK dealer network only available from overseas teams, consolidating this within the UK means we can help Hardi streamline their efforts, and target the market more efficiently and effectively.”
Spare part support and handling for Hardi customers will be taken care of by Hardi North until June 2019 to secure optimal deliveries and service to dealers and end-users. The two companies stress that the new business arrangement only applies to the UK.
