Agricast says that the new GLX Ultra is the toughest and strongest product in its range of low disturbance points.
Joining the Grass Land Xtra (GLX) launched in 2020, the new point uses tungsten for the facing on the shin, for the large tile on the nose and tiles on the leading edge of the wings, with chrome hard facing on the nose and wings.
The GLX Ultra point is 245mm high, 260mm long and 115mm wide, and weighs 5.50kg. It is available now at a special launch price of £89.70 each.
“The last couple of years have been particularly challenging for farmers with prices rising dramatically across the board,” comments William Robinson, Agricast’s managing director. “When it comes to wearing metal, we’ve listened to our customers who are looking for the best combination of price, value for money and durability. We’ve designed the GLX Ultra point to be strong, resilient, and attractively priced.”
The Lincolnshire-based wearing parts supplier also offers a conversion service and reckons to have converted more than 20 different machines to run the GLX point. These include the Cousins V-Form, Gregoire Besson Discordon, Heva Evolution, Horsch Terrano, McConnel Shakaerator, and Simba DTX.
