Designed for increased output, productivity and precision spreading of manures, compost and bulk materials, the HBS series is available in capacities of 14, 16 and 18t, with an internal floor width of 1.6m (smaller models with a floor width of 1.5m are planned in the future).
Material shred and chopped by the rear horizontal twin rotors (boron flights/12mm flight tips) is spread by the adjustable 1.85m discs with twin paddles up to a width of 24m. Made from a fully welded construction with double 20mm grade 80 floor chains, the speed of the single slats can be controlled variably including cross flow relief valve protection.
The standard specification includes a wide angle 1000rpm PTO with driveline, disc paddle shear bolt protection and automatic HD cam clutch protection for the discs and horizontal beaters.
The new spreaders also come with a hydraulic double acting slurry door, a rear rotor hydraulic canopy door with adjustable spring-loaded hood drop point with border control limiter, hydraulic brakes, parking brake and LED lighting.
Available with a drawbar with fixed, swivel or spoon hitch, a sprung drawbar is optional, as are air/hydraulic brakes and full ISObus application rate control with load cells and sprung drawbar to ensure that the spreading rate is maintained relative to speed.
Demonstrations of the new models will be available from next April.
