Fifteen years after launching its first self-propelled mixer wagon, German mixer wagon manufacturer Siloking Mayer Maschinenbau has delivered the 2,000th machine.
Launched at the EuroTier livestock machinery show in Hannover in 2004, the novel three-point-chassis design of the firm’s first self-propelled version secured one of the show’s prestigious gold medals.
Made at Tittmoning in Bavaria, today the self-propelled machines, which range from the smallest SelfLine 4.0 Compact (12m³ to 16m³) models to the System 1000+ (25m³ to 32m³) versions, are the core business for the company.
The market continues to grow. It took 10 years to sell the first 1,000 units (2004 to 2014), but just five years to reach the 2,000 threshold.
The German mixer wagon manufacturer has its own sales and service subsidiaries in Russia, Brazil and China, and an established dealer network in the rest of the world. With 420+ staff, Siloking mixer wagons are distributed in more than 50 countries.
