Dutch firm Tobroco Machines, the maker of the Giant wheeled and telescopic loaders, telehandlers and skid steer loaders, has just produced the 15,000th machine.

It is just three years since the Dutch company revealed it had sold the 10,000th unit. The manufacturer reckons the 50% increase in numbers is due partly to the expanded product portfolio, which currently includes 36 different models, and the wide range of attachments. The firm says the sales increase is also helped by the growing number of global dealers, with Giant’s machines now available in 40 countries.

All machines are designed and built at a factory in Oisterwijk, in the Netherlands, and in 2013, Tobroco opened a factory in Hungary for steel preparation work. Founded in 1996 by Toine Brock, the company currently provides jobs for 160 at the Dutch factory and 70 in Hungary. The first Giant wheel loader was made in 2001.
