Combining several operations in a single pass the 12m Lemken Solitair ST is available with a choice of front tools for fitting ahead of the double disc coulters.

These include a plastic trapezoidal roller, a levelling tine section and wavy discs. Able to apply different components, the hopper is available as a 6,000l (split 50:50) or as a 7,000l (3,000/4,000l) version.

Both hopper and metering system are made from plastic, and the coulter bar contains parallelogram-guided double disc coulters and trailing depth control rollers. Seed or fertiliser is placed at row spacings of 12.5cm or 16.7cm (option).

Positioning the four distributor heads directly above the OptiDisc coulter bar is said to produce the best seed distribution, and the coulter system is available as a mechanical or hydraulic versions with pressures up to 45kg and 70kg, respectively.

Coulter pressure and seed depth can be adjusted independently, regardless of forward speed, and dividing the coulter bar into two sections allows them to follow ground contours.

Limited numbers of the Solitair ST will be available from autumn 2025 and the new drill is scheduled to be in full production from 2026.
