It has taken Claas a little over three years to produce the 100th Jaguar Terra Trac (TT). The milestone machine, which left the assembly line in Harsewinkel earlier this month, is destined for the main market of North America.

Previewed in prototype form at the 2017 Agritechnica, and launched at the back end of 2018, the Terra Trac crawler track units are available for the 960 (653hp) and 990 (925hp).

Claas is the first manufacturer to offer a dedicated rubber-track system on a self-propelled forage harvester and the flagship model accounts for over 90% of the Terra Trac machines sold in North America.

Some two-thirds of the TTs sold in the country work on dairy farms in eastern areas, allowing users to crack on and get the job done in a wet season. The rubber-track option is also popular with customers in southern and western states harvesting whole crop and maize silage in centre pivot irrigated fields.
