A steering drawbar is probably the easiest way to offset a slurry tanker in crab steer mode, but if you have a ground engaging applicator this can cause lateral forces. Fleigl’s Twist not only steers the axle but also the rear linkage. Here is how it works
Single axle slurry tankers on large rubber are more or less the norm on many UK and Irish farms. Among these is a very small handful of field-based tanks kitted out with a steering drawbar to offset the wheels onto fresh ground or with a powered axle to reduce ruts. Previously Fliegl has offered a telescoping axle, but the Twist opens up more possibilities.
