Hopper extensions are probably one of the most popular on-farm modification allowing spreader capacity to make the most of bigger tractor’s lift capacity. You just need to be aware of the max load rating of the spreader’s of the spreader frame. Other featured mods include mudguards to reduce the amount of fertiliser flicked onto the tractor and muck landing on the discs while older, still serviceable spreaders have been given headland border control and hydraulic on/off for the outlets.
