The first of 14 self-propelled Dutch-made Vredo Tracs ordered by British customers last autumn have been shipped across the North Sea to the UK.

The orders include seven VT4556s for Anglian Water, and another six for O.J. Neil Contracting (working for Thames Water). The last machine, a 687hp VT7028, is destined for Farming General Services Agri, which was the first company in the UK to buy a Vredo self-propelled machine in 2012. The spreading bodies on all 14 machines were supplied by Tebbe.

Distributor Lister Wilder will provide aftersales support in the southern part of UK from its depot at Southam, which will soon be the base for a new national sales manager.
