Landquip will show the Wingssprayer, a Dutch-designed twin wing application system designed to reduce drift whilst boosting product efficacy.

Using wide-angle nozzles spaced at 25cm, during spraying the wings gently touch the crop, slightly opening the canopy to further aid droplet penetration. Resulting in a claimed drift reduction of 99.8%, user experience suggests the system can typically result in savings of 20% in contact herbicides and 10% to 20% in fungicides.

Harrie Hoeben, the inventor/designer of the Wingssprayer, will be on the Landquip stand to discuss the system’s principles and benefits.

Also making its LAMMA debut is the 1.300l Cropmaster mounted sprayer. Available with the ultra-light RPA aluminium boom in widths of 18.0m-24.0m, the new machine joins existing 1,600l and 1,900l models.

Like others in the range, the new model’s capacity can be boosted by pairing with a 1,500l or 1,900l front tank. A full package of precision farming options are also available, including GPS-governed individual nozzle section control, boom auto height and colour touch screen.

From its recently-announced partnership with Ukrainian firm Lozova, Landquip will be exhibiting a 6.0m trailed model from its range of heavy-duty Ducat disc harrows, which are available in 2.5-16.5m working widths.

Also on show will be a rotary harrow and an inter-row cultivator. The new machines are part of a range aimed to fit into all types of farming system, from conventional to organic to hybrid. It includes discs, stubble/straw harrows, toothed drag harrows, inter-row cultivators, rotary harrows and potato ridgers.
