Danish firm Samson Agro is adding another 4,500m² to the existing 2005-built 18,500m² production facilities at Viborg.

Bringing the total covered area to 2.3ha, the two new 30 x 75m halls will provide increased manufacturing and parts storage space for its slurry tankers and manure spreaders.

The expansion follows recent investments in manufacturing equipment at the facility to prepare the Danish firm, which this month celebrates its 75th anniversary, for the future.

Samson reckons to make 85% of components for its slurry tankers and manure spreaders in-house, including gearboxes, pumps and distributors.
