Mzuri describes it’s new Pro-Til 3T Xzact as a one pass drill that combines the accuracy of seed placement of a conventional precision seeder with the firm’s one pass striptill drill. Heading to LAMMA next month, the Xzact precision technology option can be fitted to most of the firm’s standard Pro-Til models.

Broadening their versatility to include crops such as grain and forage maize, sunflower and soya, the conversion features an electronic precision seeding unit and coulter assembly to deliver single seed placement. The constant hydraulic pressure exerted onto each coulter arm ensures the seeding depth accuracy, says Mzuri. The system uses adjustable-pressure vacuum metering to accurately space crops, regardless of the seed size, and the electrically-driven metering discs and singulators maintain the same seeding distance at variable speeds. The mini hoppers on each metering unit are automatically replenished from the main tank, which says the company, extends drilling time.

Mzuri will also the new Razorback 550 hedgecutter, the vertical-axis rotary design and self-levelling technology of which is designed to reduce operator fatigue and increase productivity. The 1.5m-wide and 5.5m-reaching head (hydraulically controlled front hood and rear roller) incorporates a soft start triple rotor. Additional mulching blades are in continuous contact with vegetation, which says the company, results in a cleaner and faster cut and chopping action.

Razorback’s auto-level co-pilot technology keeps the main frame of the machine level, which says the firm, reduces the need to make manual adjustments from the tractor.
