This week’s LAMMA 2015 provides visitors with an ideal opportunity to get up close to a number of tractors on display for the first time in the UK. In addition to new models from Case IH, Claas and Landini (all well covered on this site), New Holland will use the two-day event as the UK debut for its Stage IV-compliant T8 tractors. The rated and maximum powers have been increased on all five models – the T8.320 (250/320hp), T8.350 (280/351hp), T8.380 (311/382hp), T8.410 (340/409hp) and T8.435 (380/435hp). Other updates include the standard inclusion of the Intelliview IV monitor, while the new multi function handle has more responsive, reduced effort keys that are backlit for better nighttime visibility. Two new optional LED field light packages are now available, and the upgrade includes easier access to the right hand window, with conveniently placed steps and grab handles. The toolbox and service points have been moved to simplify daily maintenance, while the air filter and air intake have been relocated to the left side of the tractor. The recently-launched Valtra T4 six-cylinder tractor series will also be on show for the first time in the UK. Designed from a clean sheet of paper, the six-models range from 155hp up to 250hp. LAMMA also marks the first British outing of the new MF 4700 global series. Built at Beauvais, in France, a full range, including cab models, will be available for sale in late 2015. MF will also show the 1700 compact tractor. Available in both cab and platform versions, it is fitted as standard with a hydrostatic transmission. Finally, Fendt will showcase the 300 S4 and 500 model ranges.
