With no possibility to extend the existing facilities at Meppen (Germany), Lemken is currently building a new sprayer factory at Haren. Located close to the existing premises (which Lemken acquired in 2005 when it bought RTS Pflanzenbautechnik), about 30 staff will work at the new 3ha site. Expected to be completed this autumn, in addition to offices and training rooms, the new facility will house an integrated 500sq.m. exhibition area and a 10,000sq.m. production hall. At the symbolic spade in the ground ceremony are (left to right): CEO Anthony van der Ley, Nicola Lemken (partner), Rudolf Vervoorst (COO), Christian Kremers (assistant plant manager), Markus Honnigfort (Mayor Haren), Arnd van Neerven (plant planning and plant extension), and Jürgen Lenzing (business development).
