Vaderstad will take the wraps off a new flagship precision planter at Agritechnica, and a huge 16-row trailed version called the Tempo L. The largest Tempo so far, the short video teaser on the company’s website clearly confirms it has a very large fertiliser hopper. We can also confirm the two outer wings (eight planting units each side) fold to the sides of the machine for transport. However, we will have to wait until the show for the technical details. The company will also present several new 2016 features for the rest of the Tempo family at the German show, including a new aluminium seed metre and fertiliser coulter. Plus there is the all-new linkage-mounted Tempo V. Offered in seven different models, and in 6 to 12 rows, working widths range from 4.2 and 6.6m.
