Lancashire firm Storth was hoping to tempt the Germans with some British made kit and unveiled its own umbilical pump. The Nova ST100 has a 100mm diameter outlet with a 350mm impeller. The centrifugal pump and gearbox are separate so if the mechanical seal fails slurry does not reach the gearbox.
