Versatility is the name of Weaving Machinery’s game when it comes to its 8m Short Disc 8000T. Though displayed in 8m wide compact disc format at LAMMA, the Polish-built machine is essentially a transport chassis into which the owner could also slot subsoiler legs or even a set of raking tines. The main application for now, however, will probably be as pictured — 64 scalloped boron discs plus a full width V ring roller behind. Transport lights, hydraulic brakes, floatation tyres and a 3m transport width are also part of the standard specification. Power requirement is 250hp, working depth 12mm to 75mm. Price is £28,600.
