Dieci will launch an advanced vision and handling assistance system at next week’s Bauma construction trade fair.
Designed to increase safety and efficiency, the Hi-Vision concept will be shown on the equally new Pegasus Elite rotary telehandler. Following on from the existing Easy Tech system, Hi-Vision is described as a more advanced package of solutions.
Developed in-house, it combines computer vision, artificial intelligence and a solid hardware architecture to offer complete 360° control of the vehicle, and optimized machine and boom movements.
The technical details are under wraps, but the system detects the presence of people and objects, and prevents collisions through audio-visual warnings. It remains to be seen if it will eventually make it to one of the firm’s agricultural telehandlers.
Hi-Vision will be the main novelty on the company’s Bauma stand, where there will also be an opportunity to see the Apollo-e 26.6 and Apollo-e Smart 20.4 electric telehandlers. The Fast Attach quick coupler, the winner of the EIMA 2024 technical innovation award, will also be at the German show, which runs from April 7 to 13, 2025.
