Simon Richard has added a range of medium duty rotary mowers to its Sauerburger line-up.
Joining the Condor range of heavy-duty flex wing rotary mowers launched in 2024, the latest offerings from the German manufacturer include the medium duty 2515. Suitable for use with tractors up to 235hp, cutting width is 4.6m.
The design of three spindles each with two free-swinging blades is said to reduce the impact shock when hitting a stationary object. Slip clutches protect the gearboxes and drivelines from damage. Other flex wing models include the 2512, a 3.6m model for tractors up to 175hp. This is suitable for cutting grass, weeds, and light brush up to 5.0cm thick.

The 2410 twin spindle (3.0m for tractors up to 125hp) is designed for tough mowing jobs. With an updated splitter box to manage tip speed, the combination of counter rotation, 11cm full uplift blades, adjustable tailwheel brackets, and increased deck skirt height are said to deliver a good cut quality in changing conditions.
Designed for heavy-duty applications (brush up to 7.5cm diameter), the 1606 and 1607 single spindle mowers (tractors up to 100hp) and are available in 1.8m and 2.1m working widths. Again, the design of a single spindle with two free-swinging blades is said to reduce the impact shock when a stationary object is contacted. A slip clutch protects the gearbox and driveline from damage.
