Czech manufacturer Rozmital says that its SD-300R (3.0m) rear mounted disc mower conditioner is ideally suited to working in tough crops, such as alfalfa.
Previewed as a prototype at Agritechnica 2023, and tested in various conditions last season, it is said to be a simple task to slide and lock the top non-driven roller into the top position to manually disengage the rubber roller conditioner.
Developed and manufactured in-house, the cutterbar comprises seven discs with quick-release blades, and the centre suspension system provides up to 15 degrees of ground contour following.
Cutting height is adjustable from 4.0-8.0cm, and optional steel wear plates increase the stubble height by an additional 20 or 50mm to protect the cutterbar.

Now that the SD-300R is finished, Rozmital’s R&D department has turned its attention to the SM-820R (8.2m) combi mower conditioner project. It is not yet known when this will be ready.
