Kongskilde Industries continues to make grain handling equipment and is unaffected by the recent sale by CNH of the Kongskilde arable and grass machinery division to Seko Industries.
Keen to clarify any confusion the transaction could have caused in the farming community, Kongskilde Industries stresses that it remains an independent manufacturer of grain handling equipment (this year marks the 75th anniversary).
“We understand that the recent sale of Kongskilde has created some confusion in the market, particularly among farmers who rely on grain handling systems,” said Kim Johnsen, CCO of Kongskilde Industries. “We want to reassure our customers that Kongskilde Industries is unaffected by this sale, and we remain fully committed to supporting the agricultural community with industry-leading grain handling technology.”
For the record, CNH agreed to acquire the Kongskilde arable and grass division at the end of October 2016. The Danish company was split into two separate divisions early 2017: Kongskilde Industries (grain handling equipment) and Kongskilde (cultivation equipment, trailed forage harvesters, mixer wagons and stone pickers).
CNH bought the latter and it was not long before numerous grass and arable machines were finished with New Holland branding. We still do not know why CNH pulled the pin, but Italian mixer wagon manufacturer Seko Industries is now the new owner of Kongskilde grass and arable machines.
