Austrian firm Einböck is the latest manufacturer to develop a bespoke machine for the Nexat, fitting the carrier vehicle with a 14m XXL row-crop Chopstar-Max mechanical hoe.

The project started quickly following a meeting at last year’s Agritechnica, and the pre-production machine, which is equipped with the Row-Guard camera steering system, was successfully tested earlier this season in 50cm-spaced maize rows.

Further tools for mechanical weed control are to be produced next year for the Nexats in use worldwide.
