G T Bunning and Sons recently launched trailer range will make its Scottish debut at this year’s Royal Highland Show.
Following its LAMMA launch earlier this year, the new four-model range (14t-20t) is built at Bunning’s factory at Gressenhall in Norfolk. Bunning built its first trailer in 1963 but paused production in 2010 due to the increased demand for its spreader models.
The company says that the reintroduction of the trailer line has been driven through increased customer demand and will maximise the 6,840m² factory expansion that has been completed over the past two years.
Built to order for its new owner, the 18t trailer heading to the Scottish show has a redesigned tailboard, high load BKT tyres, ADR axles with larger bearings, multi-leaf suspension, and a smooth internal body that is tapered to the rear by 100mm to help loads exit, are all standard features on the four-model range.
Alongside the trailer, the new and larger stand will contain a selection of Bunning Lowlander manure spreaders including a 175 HBD with ISObus with weigh cells. There will also be a 120 hybrid model with widebody augers; and a small 90 TVA, for farmers looking for a cost-effective option to undertake spreading works in-house.
Bunning is a regular at the annual event in Ingliston, and Ben Johnson, UK and Ireland sales manager, says it is a great platform to connect with customers across the north of England, Scotland and further afield.
“The Highland Show is a valuable event in our calendar. It allows us the opportunity to catch-up with existing users that we don’t have the chance to see on a regular basis and meet new customers. With a larger stand, we can highlight the benefits of a wider selection of our machines to visitors at the show.”
“There has been a lot of interest in our relaunched trailer line, and we are excited to bring it to Scotland for the first time,” adds Ben. “It complements the spreader range nicely and we are looking forward to welcoming visitors onto our stand this year.”
