France strengthened its position as Europe’s largest tractor market accounting for 35,665 (+2.3%) of the approx. 140,000 new tractors registered last year.
Registrations remained stable in Germany, the second largest market (30,345), and despite the 13% dip in the numbers, Italy held on to third spot (17,613). When added together, these three main markets accounted for 83,623 of the total (85,412 in 2022) number.
AGCO registered the highest number of tractors (20,243) in the top three markets.
In second spot was John Deere (14,744), and CNH third with 13,553 units. In fourth, fifth and sixth positions were SDF (7,718), Kubota (5,766) and Claas (5,725), respectively.
The Polish market was down 12% to 10,311 units (5th position), and the Spanish market declined 13% to 8,779 units (6th place). The other top 10 spots were filled by Portugal (7th 5,313), Austria (8th 4,513), Hungary (9th 2,824) and the Czech Republic (10th 2,819).
