The Lovol machinery range – previously known as Foton and manufactured by the Weichai Group in China – is now being imported by Severn Farm Machinery Ltd, based in Pontesbury near Shrewsbury.
Tractors are currently from 25-130hp with ROPS and cab versions, plus the option to specify Lovol front loaders and on smaller models, turf tyres. They have seen extensive restyling and are powered by Doosan Stage V engines. Topping out the range at 130hp, the P5130 has a three-range 45-speed powershift transmission and air-conditioned cab.
With an operating weight of 1810kg, the FR18E2-U mini excavator is powered by an 11.5kW Yanmar engine and has a side shift boom, zero tail swing and enclosed pipework. Lovol also offers a selection of attachments.
Severn Farm Machinery has units in stock and a demonstration fleet, plus a large parts inventory to support the products. A range of implements to compliment the tractors is also available.
The company, which was previously a New Holland agent until Rea Valley Tractors took on the local area and has Maschio, Major and Dieci among its other franchises, is seeking dealers for both tractors and mini excavators.
The brand is also available from Lovol Tractors in Maidstone, Kent which has sold 2,000 units over the past 16 years into the agricultural, landowner and equestrian markets and offers parts and service nationwide.
