Italian little loader maker Cast has re-engineered its Genesis 25HP yard loader to reduce the cost by as much as 25%. Part of this cost saving is by introducing a fixed boom which has a lift height of 2.7m while the up to now telescopic arm becomes an option.

Likewise, Cast is a big fan of more robust metal bodywork but this comes at a price hence the introduction of curvy plastic panels.

The 800kg lift machine is pitched at a very price competitive part of the market says export sales man Guglielmo Zangoni. The rest of the machine is the same as before; an Isuzu 25hp diesel, hydrostatic transmission and 42l/min hydraulic system.

Cast is sold by SME Plant in Ireland and Spectrum Plant in Great Britain.
