Pöttinger trailed stubble cultivators can now be fitted with a 500-litre capacity Tegosem flexible hopper. Other new options for the Terria include Traction Control and a levelling board.
Suitable for drilling a cover crop, applying fertiliser or micro-granules in a single pass, the electrically controlled metering shaft on the Tegosem switches off automatically at the headland.
A hydraulic fan transports material to the distribution plates, the angle of which is adjustable to ensure seed is placed in front of the rear roller. The hopper is equipped with a level sensor and can be supplied with a control terminal.
Traction Control transfers up to 1.4t of weight from the cultivator to the rear axle of the tractor. Designed to reduce wheel slip, the pressure in the drawbar cylinder can be adjusted for different working depths.
The last of the trio of new options is a levelling board. Available on Terrias with tandem rear rollers, it replaces the concave discs to improve levelling on light soils.
Working widths of the Terria range from 4.0m to 6.0m.
