A new mounting kit allows a Stocks Ag Turbo Jet to be integrated with a trailed Sky EasyDrill. This allows Avadex granules to be directly applied to the seed bed through an additional set of outlets behind the drill’s press wheel.

Designed to meet the needs of EasyDrill owners that are looking for an applicator that will precisely meter and accurately spread Avadex granules through a separate distribution circuit, the Turbo Jet applicator fitting kit is available for the 4.0m, 6.0m and 8.0m models.

Fitted with a 240-litre hopper, feed block metering roller, 32mm seed hoses and 10 outlet spreader plates, the Turbo Jet 10 on the 6.0m model in the picture has been colour matched. The 4.0m drill is specified with a Turbo Jet 8 (eight outlets), while the Turbo Jet 10 (20 outlets) for the 8.0m version is available with a larger 400-litre hopper. The Turbo Jet 10 is fitted with i-CON Control, which allows for rates to be automatically controlled in proportion to forward speed for ultimate accuracy.

The Turbo Jet can also be used as an additional applicator enabling a fully specified EasyDrill to apply five products at once through three different outlets. The Turbo Jet can apply variable rates of product according to mapping data using a GPS based touch screen.

Available directly to EasyDrill owners or available through Opico and its Sky Agriculture dealer network for any new EasyDrill, the optional mounting kit consists of a loading platform, steps and safety guard rail.
