Both mounted and semi-mounted versions of modified Karat 10 three-beam cultivators are now available from Lemken.
A new arrangement of tines is said to reduce the draught of the cultivator and help avoid side-draft. The wing shares for shallow cultivation have been widened and narrow shares can be used for deep cultivation, down to 300mm. DeltaCut shares can be fitted for ultra-shallow cultivation. Carbide options are available for wing and narrow shares.
Centrally adjusted levelling tines help give even levelling and levelling discs, for heavy soils, are an option. Boundary discs and tines with either mechanical or hydraulic folding are also available as are a range of drawbars.
Working widths from three to seven metres are offered.
Hydraulically adjustable leading disc are also an option. These help mix organic matter into the soil.
The Karat 10 is offered with working widths from three to seven metres. A traction booster and the ContourTrack system, to help maintain an even working depth in hilly terrain, are available for the semi-mounted models.
